“This is what I want to do.
I want to tell stories.
I want people to feel something
and learn something.”

We're Kaylee and Sidney Horne

(Feel free to shorten that up to Kay and Sid if you want.)

We met as teenagers, many years ago; just two homeschool kids who ended up in the same church, then the same college classes… and as we grew up, we grew closer. After dating for two years, we got engaged in the middle of 2013 -- dove straight into the planning and counting down… We got married on Friday the 13th that same December, just five months later! —Getting married was the best and most significant decision we've ever made, and we take marriage very seriously. It’s hard to believe that was about eight years ago, but time flies when you’re working like crazy, living through a pandemic, and having fun all at the same time!

We’ve photographed over 100 weddings and we still get nervous butterflies when we get to photograph such important events! We love working together and find that experiencing weddings on such a regular basis gives us a unique opportunity to be reminded of how to love each other and stay focused on what really matters.

The Heart of the Hornes:

  • We believe that a solid marriage isn’t a “50% your effort” plus “50% their effort” equation, but 100% you + 100% them. The whole time. We know we won’t be able to love and be loved without giving our all for each other, and sometimes that takes us finding flaws and pouring grace over them anyway.

  • We believe that today is a gift, life is short, and we want to fully and wholeheartedly take advantage of it.

  • We believe (and know!) that moments are fleeting and precious and so they should be witnessed, captured, shared, and archived.

  • We love you! We can’t wait to meet you!
